It was frequently said that I seem to be too polite to be a Scorpio, but all my close friends know that I truly embody my key qualities of the sign, including a painfully honest inclination. And so I feel I have to tell him that my first reaction was “Plum, truly is the main ingredient,” when I heard of the new Glow Recipe Plum Hyaluronic Serenum? I think the plums are objectively not the most delicious choice as stone fruits go (and neither are their dried and mushy twins, prunes).
However, because this is Glow Recipe, I was prepared to give the brand the latest K-beauty product a chance and dismiss my preconceived opinions. If you put it in a smooth flask containing hyaluric acid and a skin-plumping serum, you may not get anything I would be enthusiastic about under other conditions. (Especially if my fave Banana Soufflé Humidity Cream and Advocate Retinol Sleeping Mask are made of that bottle’s ingredients.)
In effect, the simple pen contains more behind the surface, according to Christine Chang, Co-Founder and Co-CEO. “We utilised a combination of three distinct prunes that offer specific advantages,” she explains. “Kakadu Plum has the greatest vitamin C concentration, therefore it is a bright and potent combatant against fine lines and wrinkles. Illawarra plum is an antioxidant, which is rich in anthocyanins. The Burdekin Plum is rich in nutrients that soothe your skin, such as magnesium, calcium and potassium.”
In addition to hyaluronic acid, other essential element of the fruit is its antioxidant-rich qualities. In the majority of your skin care products you undoubtedly saw H.A. because of its capacity to absorb and store huge amounts of water. Jessica Weiser of the New York Dermatology Group said, “It pumps and increases volume in your skin cells to make your skin smoother and smoother.
This is the objective of Plum Plump, as the name indicates. The team has set out to produce a daily serum to improve glare for every skin type, according to Co-Founder and Co-CEO Sarah Lee. “We wanted the ultimate jolly skin to be achieved,” she explains. “That’s called the skin of chok-chok in Korea and is a hydrated glitter.” Glow Recipe also incorporates plant-based versions of collagen and silk protein along with high weights of hyaluraic acid (think fast maximum hydration), which enhance serum hydration benefits.
I have volunteered to sample each thing Glow Recipe has to offer at this moment in my career. I was interested this time about the difference between Plum Plump and other moisturising GR serums such as Watermelon Pink Juice and Pineapple Glow. I added a tiny pump to my morning regimen just after I pat the toner when I received the purple glass container. The weak scent—the idealised, elegant rendition of new feathers—disappeared almost instantly, and the lightweight gel dropped just as rapidly.
