After years of professional manicures, I became tired of the expense and finding the time was hard to do. One day, my granddaughter showed me her newly manicured nails and they were beautiful. She told me they were glue-on nails. I was impressed. So, I decided to try it myself.
I always loved French manicures, so I bought a kit that included 28 nails in several sizes, nail glue, and an emery board. The kits often come in different nail lengths, and there is a plethora of product choices. I always choose “Real Short,” so it doesn’t interfere with keyboarding. I found the glue in the kit awkward to use, so I purchased brush-on glue. This was much easier to use. After a little bit of practice, I was able to make my nails look professionally done.
As with any manicure, it is helpful to give your natural nails a rest, so they remain healthy.
What I love about these nails is that they are very durable, chip resistant, and inexpensive. The glue holds well, they look natural, and I can easily get at least two weeks of wear before replacing them.
If you are trying to save time and still maintain beautiful nails, give it a try. I’ll bet you get a lot of compliments, like I do!
